Meet Bitrig Remote

From the engineers behind SwiftUI, Bitrig is a vibe coding app purpose-built for the Apple ecosystem. It’s the best way to build native Swift apps with AI.
It’s been a while since we’ve released an update to our iPhone app. Unfortunately, Apple determined the Bitrig iPhone app (along with other vibe coding iPhone apps) did not comply with App Review Guideline 2.5.2.
So we built something new: Bitrig Remote.
It takes a new approach, built on the powerful foundation we’ve laid over the last three months with the Mac app and Bitrig Agent.
On the surface, Bitrig Remote will feel familiar to existing Bitrig iPhone users. You still build your app by chatting with AI, and your app updates live as you interact with it.
But under the hood, nearly everything has changed. Bitrig Remote connects to Bitrig Agent on your Mac, giving it access to a professional-grade iOS development stack:
- The full Xcode toolchain, so you can build with every framework in the iOS SDK
- A streaming Xcode iPhone Simulator preview, so what you see matches what your users get on TestFlight and the App Store
- Claude Code, so Bitrig can build your project, inspect issues, and search documentation on your behalf
- Multi-file projects, so you can edit your project configuration, Info.plist, entitlements, and capabilities
- Version History backed by Git, so you can browse and restore previous versions of your project with confidence
Today, we’re inviting you to be among the first to try Bitrig Remote. Join the TestFlight beta here, connect Bitrig Remote to Bitrig Mac, and get started.
From day one, Bitrig has been about building whenever and wherever inspiration strikes. We’re excited to bring the power of the Mac app and Bitrig Agent back to iPhone.
