Bitrig Now Builds iPad Apps

Bitrig now builds iPad apps

There’s something irresistible about the iPad.

It’s incredibly thin, light, and fast. A piece of glass that instantly transforms into whatever app you’re using. A bigger, blanker canvas than the iPhone. More direct and intimate than the Mac. It invites exploration and creativity.

Today, we’re excited to share:

Bitrig can now build native Swift iPad apps.

You get access to the full iPadOS SDK, so you can build iPad apps with rich multi-column layouts, Apple Pencil support, multiple windows, and more.

You can run your app on a connected iPad or in the Xcode iPad Simulator, so your previews reflect what your users get on TestFlight and the App Store.

After all these years, it still feels like the iPad hasn’t fully realized its potential. Maybe the killer app for iPad hasn’t been built yet?

Maybe you’ll build it.
